- Civil cases set by praecipe (Judges’ secretary handles all scheduling issues).
- Court convenes 9:00 a.m. – civil matters; 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. – criminal matters.
- Commissioners in Chancery are utilized in divorce and other cases for good cause shown.

Continuance Policy
Continuances granted by Judge on motion. Traffic infraction 1st appearance – Clerk’s office. This court follows the Supreme Court guidelines to have 90% of criminal cases adjudicated or otherwise disposed within 60 days of arrest; 100% within 90 days. A request for a continuance beyond this time will require the personal appearance of the attorney for defendant and/or Commonwealth’s Attorney.
