Continuance Policy
CIVIL: First continuance granted by judge on agreement by all parties. Letter to be submitted by plaintiff or plaintiff’s counsel. TRAFFIC/CRIMINAL: The clerk’s office may grant a one-time continuance of prepayable offenses to the involved officer’s next court date. Felonies and misdemeanors can only be continued by contacting the Commonwealth Attorney’s office.
